But yeah, perhaps it’s specifically the angle of this shot but he looks thinner here than in other photos from rehearsals etc. Thanks

It could well just have been the stress of being a play (I somehow can’t see Julian losing weight on purpose but he may well have just gone on a bit of diet when he was looking for new roles). I have some more angst filled speculations but they are just that. But yeah @one-warm-line is also correct as ever about the hair too

I don’t know as much as @agarlandoffreshlycuttears but I can give a bit of context for the photos: they were taken on press night when Julian was in The Government Inspector. His hair was quite long then (he kept the hair and the beard grown out specifically for the play as far as I know) so when he pulls it back its looks…weird.

(I still looove that second pic of prettiest-girl-at-the-party Noel looking up at him.) But, I don’t know if he was ill, someone else might? @agarlandoffreshlycuttears​ and @one-warm-line​ seem to know just about everything… xx
