I wasn’t a band kid, but I’d love to know what playing the clarinet or oboe meant about my friends, if you’re up for it

if you played clarinet you were basic but usually pretty nice, just kinda there to vibe

i had a sort of small high school band so this might be very specific but if you played oboe it’s because you’re a pushover who likes a challenge akhdhdjs

i honestly find it super intriguing that even though being a band kid both sucked tremendously and was also the most fun i’ve had, that it is such a universal experience. if somebody says they play(ed) a certain instrument you know exactly what their personality is. it is truly next level personality test/zodiac placement kind of shit

i still think part of why tng and ds9 have such different cast dynamics is that sisko stays in his office working most of the time while picard feels the need to sit in his very important la-z-boy and babysit his large adult subordinates all day long and only uses the ready room for brooding and chewing riker out. as a result picard trembles with nearly imperceptible rage every time someone farts on the bridge whereas sisko’s like oh the old man’s screwing someone in the turbolift again? well i’d better not have to do any paperwork about it
