Karl Urban had had very little sleep when he popped up on stage during the con. He had flown in from New Zealand the night before and left literally from the convention hall to go back to airport and back to NZ. Despite the lack of sleep, or maybe because of it, it was tough to get a good look at the guy because he was moving around so quickly! Seriously, he was clearly happy to be there and we were happy to see him, from the girl who wanted him to marry her (sorry, ladies..Karl reports that he is much in love at home) to the girl who was brought up on stage for a round of “Happy Birthday”. We met the woman who is building his web site (I didn’t catch her name…sorry). And Karl answered that question many must have been asking….”boxers or briefs”? (boxers). All told, he was a trooper for having flown all that way for a day. (x)
