What I really like about Jim’s reaction when Spock died verses Spock’s reaction when Jim died is that it’s like they handled the situation how they thought the other would. Jim controlled his emotions and sort of tried to be professional around everyone because that’s what Spock wanted, but Spock, he completely loses his shit in front of everybody. He put aside logic and showed how vulnerable death makes us feel. How human it makes us feel.
