I don’t like to ask people for help because usually, I can achieve my goals on my own. Unfortunately, I don’t happen to have almost $7,000 to have surgery just lying around, so I have to ask for help on this one.

I have a consultation appointment for my top surgery coming up, and I want to be able to schedule my surgery for as soon as possible (holiday break from college), but realistically I may have to wait until the spring for it. 

The place where I’m planning on getting surgery done offers payment plans, but requires half of the amount as a down payment and the rest would be paid over a certain amount of time. 

I’m planning on asking family and friends for as much help as I can, but much of my family is not supportive of my transition and so it has been difficult to begin my transition, let alone ask for help.
