the outcast rubs me the wrong way for so many different reasons
- first off there’s no fashion. no style. no cool clothes or hairstyles. everyone has a “feminine” face and the same “masculine” haircut and a flat chest and an “androgynous” voice. they’re all wearing similar ugly clothes
- saying that there’s not a gender neutral personal pronoun…… hello. “they” is right there.
- “it’s hard to grasp the idea of no gender” god i fucking hate cis people
- oh and the way they equate gender and sex 🙄
- “who leads when you dance?” this sounds like the same shit hets say to gay people
- “without the battle of the sexes you probably don’t have as many arguments” god this is so bad
- i don’t like the premise of this episode being that the genderless people coerce gendered people into staying genderless. very very bad vibes.
- i don’t like the invasive questions about sex and sexual organs
- LMAO they’re talking about how men don’t wear makeup or nail polish. and here i am. watching this episode. wearing nail polish. (also like it’s SO funny because tos had SO much makeup on men but WHATEVER)
- i don’t like the “forbidden love but make it straight” shit that’s going on. and how soren’s only had relationships with people who have “male” inclinations. i hate the implication that being female means being attracted to males
- ah! and the conversion therapy! fun! love this episode! /s
