I went to a cool Star Wars & Star Trek concert and won the costume contest which was super awesome but man am I reminded how much I despise fan boys whenever I wear my data cosplay in public lmao
As a hot tip: don’t look someone (in cosplay or not) dead in the eye, with your grandkids right next to you, and say “that is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen” just as that someone arrives to an event.
Another tip: if anyone does say that to you, just deadpan say “that is very inappropriate to say” and walk away… it is very effective
