i might be doing some mural work at a local elementary school and i’m super anxious because it’s super outside my comfort zone but i’m also really excited!! i’m meeting with the teacher on tuesday to check out the area and i’m !!!!!!!

#text #personal #funny enough the school is right next to the house mike and his family lived in for a while #and i stayed there with them for a while when my house got forclosed and my mom moved in with her bf #i remember always hearing the kids outside lol #and the teacher is so cool #shes in like 2 punk bands and #her and her wife would always come into the library for story time #so i would see them a lot there and at the coffee shop i worked at too #their daughter is literally the cutest kid ever #but yeah my first instict was to turn it down because its so outside my confort zone #plus mike and i are busy with packing and moving #but then i thought about how it would be so cool to bring a little joy into this weird school year for these kids #and to also leave one last piece of myself here before we move #:)
