ok new poll based on my previous post:
which starfleet position as a whole should be allowed to say fuck?
the results from the second poll are in! there were 666 responses, broken down below:

again, hope this is legible; i omitted responses with only one vote each, and responses requesting a single character (amongst whom were found data, spock and neelix), which was beyond the scope of this study - although the computer did get 3 whole votes.
other role suggestions included ambassador, everyone, and head nurse.
some respondents included additional comments in their answers, such as:
- redshirts but only immediately before their death
- redshirts but they only get to say it once like a pg13 movie
- Transporter technicians, bc “FUCK! WE’RE LOSING THEM!” or alternatively “so and so has arrived… fuck…”
but these were manually amalgamated into the category they described.
