I just sent my cover letter and resume for a different position at the library now I’m gonna melt into a puddle of mush from the anxiety

yes hello it is i, ur local cosplay person, tumblr user vulcannic, here to remind u that when it comes to cosplay, u gotta start somewhere

that loki cosplay was my very first cosplay i ever did and when i look at those pictures my eyeballs go to hell not only because of how very bad they are but also just remembering i had a loki phase makes a piece of my soul chip away

then i had my aos chekov cosplay, which was my second ever cosplay. .. . i love aos chekov and anton yelchin ( i miss him so so so much ) and i was just a wee baby in the star trek fandom and i was like “hey i have short curly hair lets run with it??” and booooy did i

then i made my starfire cosplay for a senior halloween dance at school and it was the first cosplay i ever sewn with my very hands but like. .. . ooooo gurl not good 

so uuuh i get a lot of people telling me stuff like “gosh i can never be as good as cosplay as you!” so i want y’all to take a good long look at these and remember everybody starts somewhere and the only way u can get better is through experience and lots and lots of youtube tutorials  

#also#i guess a main reason i personally think these images are bad is because they are all from bad times in my life#i point u to the cropped out ex boyfriend in second pic#and then i went as starfire with my best friend who was robin and then a now ex best friend who was raven#and like that ex friend was shitty#and also my ex boyfriend was shitty#at least i can blame it on them#the chekov era of my life i dont like to look back on is mostly because i myself was just very cringy#not to say loki phase me wasn't cringy#god#anyway#this has been a good 'lets look back on emily's embarrassing like' time#but really tho#hope this helps people idk#or makes somebody laugh at how dumb i was#lmao#mythangs

I cannot fuckin believe this book was in our system at work…… I had to place it on hold from another library and it just arrived today! I went into the system while I was at work just to see how many times it’s been checked out….. twice… . . It’s been checked out TWICE since 2012 when the library put the copy in the system, AND BOTH TIMES ITS FROM THE SAME DUDE
