I love the Star Trek fandom, but I hate the occasional experience of encountering overly pedantic fans who’ll reply to a harmless meme with something like, “Oh! So you clearly DON’T know anything about Star Trek, cause if you did you’d know that in a deleted scene from TNG it says that Riker’s favorite food is spicy quiche, and you claimed on your blog that it’s jellybeans :) glad I could clear that up for ya hon :)”
I very rarely hear from these fans, but when I do it’s like oh, ok, that’s why people make fun of Trekkies
Those fans are the worst.
Also, show me the forbidden Riker quiche.
